THE IDEA

More sophisticated standouts in a crowded, monotonous market.

When we looked at the energy drink market, we saw an opportunity to explore a new point of view, and bespoke take on design. So we created a new take on Adrenaline: one that lifted our caffeinated beverage far above the crowd with layered flavors, and artful packaging to match. Curating avant garde flavor combinations, we crafted three nuanced new tastes—red cherry with a malt aroma, floral white grape, and a dark bouquet of chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg—and rolled out the trio in one set to unveil an entire curated energy drink experience.

THE DESIGN

Luminously decorative design inspired by three prolific golden ages.

Each Adrenaline Gold can featured brilliant gold embossing and parallel composition, with a surge of metallic detailing cutting across a large “A”—all strikingly opulent. But to make them true standouts, we had to do more than just differentiate each flavor with rich maroon red, white and black background colors.

We knew Adrenaline Gold would be provocative, so we turned to historic eras of art and creative abundance for inspiration. We gave red cherry the marks of soaring Gothic architecture, white grape the extravagance of Baroque interiors, and black the geometric lines of Art Deco design. Under the Adrenaline logo, “Gold” was written in typography true to each era, making the design akin to a rush back to history’s most energized golden ages. Each one shone on its own. Grouped together in a collectible box, they’re a singular set that stands out amongst the competition.
