PepsiCo returned to Milan Design Week in 2016 with Mix It Up, a place where the love of design, culinary, sports, fashion and music converges to create pop culture. It’s an innovation showcase – an immersive experience where PepsiCo invited guests to explore and interact with its latest creations and collaborations with the design industry’s leading talents.

Going beyond simple product development, creative brand building combined with innovation is what moves PepsiCo forward.

F!ZZ BAR

F!ZZ Bar, the centerpiece of the space, transformed throughout the event from day to night. Here, guests experienced the future of soft drink mixology with imaginative flavors and unexpected ingredients.

PepsiMoji came to life in new forms: a bold eyewear collection by fashion designer Jeremy Scott, UEFA-specific PepsiMoji for Champions League, and PepsiMoji entry for Design Pride by architect and furniture designer Fabio Novembre.

Gatorade Gx is the next wave of sports fuel innovation. Gx makes recommendations based on athletes’ unique sweat profiles and the duration, intensity and temperature of the activity.

DRINKFINITY

Drinkfinity is an innovative personal and portable beverage system that lets consumers create and enjoy their own beverages according to their preferences.

HELLOGOODNESS

HelloGoodnessTM is an intuitive machine equipped with interactive digital equipment that offers health-concious consumers complementary snack and beverage pairings based on time of day.

QUAKER

In the future world of Quaker, PepsiCo envisions central “Millery” hubs in major cities where oats are milled and roasted, recipes reimagined and from which Apés are dispatched to deliver Quaker products.

PEPSI PRESTIGE

The Pepsi Prestige Bottle is a design concept that elevates Pepsi to a whole new level. Drinking Pepsi becomes a special occasion no matter where consumers eat, work or play. PepsiCo developed the form of this sleek aluminum bottle and partnered with iconic designer Karim Rashid to create complementary barware accessories.

PEPSI FIAT 500

PepsiCo collaborated with design entrepreneur, Lapo Elkann of Garage Italia Customs, and Fiat to create a unique Fiat 500 that captures the fun, boldness and excitement that is undeniably Pepsi.

PEPSI PERFECT

Guests were invited to travel through time with Pepsi Perfect at the retro-futuristic café.

PepsiCo invited designer Benjamin Hubert to create an engaging space for exploring and interacting with Pepsi Spire, a state-of-the-art beverage dispensing fountain.

LAY’S YEAR OF THE MONKEY CAMPAIGN

The Pepsi Limited Edition Can and Lay’s packaging celebrates the Chinese New Year by featuring an iconic monkey-face that reinterprets the legendary zodiac sign. Guests joined in the irreverence and fun of the Year of the Monkey by capturing a photo in a next generation photo booth.

PURE LEAF TEA HOUSE

Inside the Tea House, guests discovered the enjoyment of Pure Leaf tea in a guided tea sommelier tasting. This space hosted the 2016 round table discussion.
